CTH O Bridge Public Information Packet

In cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Barron County is proposing to improve the existing bridge on County O located over East Branch Upper Pine Creek, approximately 50 feet east of County U, in the Town of Dallas (see attached project location map). Construction of this project will address the deteriorating bridge and improve safety. The existing bridge on County O is a 36-foot long, two-span, steel-deck girder bridge with an approximate 29- foot clear roadway width. This structure was constructed in 1932 and is showing signs of deterioration, including: decay and section loss at the existing timber abutments, piling, and pile caps, delamination and spalling of the concrete deck, and section loss of the steel girders. In addition, the existing bridge rail is deteriorating and in need of replacement. This information package is intended to provide you information about the project, so you can provide feedback to the project team in the form of questions, concerns, or comments. Please email your comments to matts@ jt-engineering.com or fill out the attached comment sheet and send it to JT Engineering, Inc., Attn: Matt Solin, 16855 Co Hwy X, Ste 2, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729. The project team will review and address all responses and utilize this information in the final design of the bridge improvements.
