Food Protection

The overall goal of the Environmental Health Department when conducting food inspections, whether it is a restaurant, temporary food stand, vending machine, school, grocery store, or bakery, is to assure that the public is provided with food that is safe, sanitary, and free of general contamination.  Food service facilities must comply with the Wisconsin State Food Code, and must correct any violations that are discovered.
