Campgrounds
The environmental health department's goal is to assure the safety, health, and overall well being of patrons occupying campgrounds throughout Barron county.
The environmental health department licenses and inspects campgrounds throughout Barron county to assess sanitary conditions and overall safety. These campgrounds are inspected annually to ensure general safety standards and state code requirements are being met. The environmental health department collects drinking water samples, performs pool inspections (where applicable), and provides consultation to campground operators along with the public to prevent health and safety hazards.
