Barron County Recovery Court
Mission Statement:
Barron County Recovery Court is dedicated to restoring lives and relationships by providing intensive wrap around services to individuals who suffer from drug and alcohol addiction. Weenhance public safety by holding our participants accountable through the use of evidence based incentives and sanctions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Established resident of Barron County.
- Received a substance use disorder diagnosis.
- Meet criteria for high risk/high need based on risk assessment tools.
- Charged with and/or convicted of felony possession, use, or sale of a controlled substance, a drug motivated crime, and/or felony OWI.
- Violent felony crimes will be considered on a case by case basis.
- The Recovery Court Participant must voluntarily agree to abide by the Recovery Court rules
- Potential Recovery Court participants cannot serve as a current confidential informant for any law enforcement entity.
- Must be on supervision with department of corrections for a period of no less than 20 months to ensure completion of program.

Individuals who are interested to be considered for the Recovery Court program are encouraged to hold a discussion with legal counsel and/or probation officer to determine eligibility.
