Barron County Parks and County Forest Trails
Notice:Firewood from out-of-state or from more than 50 miles from the Barron County property where the wood will be used is prohibited. The prohibition covers all Barron County property including the four county parks; Waldo Carlson, Veterans Memorial, Southworth, and Kirby Lake and Chain Lake/Twin Lake primitive campsites. Wood for campfires can be purchased from campground caretakers or local firewood outlets. (please keep receipt)

Waldo Carlson Park
17 acres on Red Cedar Lake. 1.5 miles north of Mikana on State Highway "48".
Facilities: Boat Ramp, Boat Docks, Campground, Picnic Shelter, Playground, Swimming, Pit Toilets
Veterans Memorial Park
160 acres on Prairie Lake. 1 1/2 miles south of Cameron via County "SS" and east on 12 3/4 Ave. Situated on the northwest corner of Prairie Lake. Prairie Lake is part of a chain of five lakes (3,764 acres), all inter-connected.
Facilities: Boat Ramp, Campground, Picnic Shelter, Playground Equipment, Hiking Trails, Pit Toilets, Dumping Station
Southworth Memorial Park
17 acres on Ten Mile Lake. 1.25 miles south of Chetek on County "SS", then east 1 mile on 6th Ave., then north 1 mile on 26 1/2 St. On east side of Ten Mile Lake. Ten Mile Lake is part of a chain of five lakes (3,764 acres), all inter-connected.

Grant Park
On Silver Lake
Facilities: Day use park with Boat Ramp, Picnic Shelter, Swimming, Bathroom Facilities
